For Science Week, with the theme Curiosity, Explorers 3 decided to focus on dinosaurs! 🦖
We met Messy, who couldn't understand why he had never met a dinosaur - and to be honest, some of us were wondering the same thing too!🤷 He helped us learn all about fossils, what they are, and where fossils can be found.
We then had a go at making our very own fossils using different pasta shapes. The children loved getting creative and exploring how fossils are formed. We had so much fun learning through discove#scienceweeke#curiosityo#DinosaurDiscoveryo#HandsOnLearningr#FutureScientiststists ... See MoreSee Less

This week we had a fantastic visit from Beth at Oases, who spoke to the children about the importance of saving energy and looking after our planet. 🌍
Navigators 3 and Adventurers 3 then took part in an exciting workshop all about renewable energy. The children had the opportunity to make their own solar panel powered fans and were amazed when they saw them working in the sunlight! 🌞
It was a brilliant hands-on experience that helped the children understand how renewable energy works and why it is so important for our future.

Explorers 1 have been busy this half-term! We have been working hard learning about shapes and recognising numbers in Maths, rhyming and practising letter sounds in phonics, playing team-building games, and exploring the people in our communities who help us! Ask your student if they can sing you our rhyme of the week, the 999 song, or our rectangle song and they will serenade you with their dulcet tones! ... See MoreSee Less
