Music & Drama

At Howletch we believe in the importance of music and drama in encouraging teamwork, creativity, building confidence and having fun. Our school orchestra and choir have performed with great reviews at venues such as the Gala theatre in Durham and the Sage Gateshead. We have strong links with Shotton Hall Academy and every year have drama lessons with one of their teachers and perform plays in their theatre.
