Anxiety & Uncertainty Survey

Researchers at Newcastle University have been investigating anxiety in children for several years. They are now running a new study which looks at how parents and children manage anxiety and cope with uncertainty. This has important implications for schools and the way they work with parents to support children who experience anxiety. It will also give some insight into whether there needs to be more support available on the NHS to families who are trying to manage their child’s anxiety.

They want to hear from you – whether you and your child have experienced anxiety or not… all responses are really valuable and will be made anonymous so there will be no way to identify yourself if you chose to take part.
If you have a child aged between 8 and 11, please go to School of Psychology website to find out more about this study and to take part in the online questionnaires.

Alternatively, please contact the research team to arrange for paper copies of the questionnaires to be sent out to you:
