Visit to Castle Eden Dene - 21 May 2018

Y1 visited Castle Eden Dene.  They met Steve who organises visits from schools and he talked to them in the classroom about the plants and the animals that inhabit the Dene.  He then took the children on a walk through the Dene.  He used Ava to demonstrate how deciduous trees lose their leaves

The children touched some leaves that were sticky.  They pulled some very strange faces when Steve told them it was greenfly wee!!
